Oakberry

Oakberry Acai Bowls is a healthy fast-food chain that started in Sao Paulo Brazil in 2016, now supplying delicious acai fruit bowls to health-conscious Australians. The brand has gained popularity due to its emphasis on providing fresh, healthy, and nutritious food options for health-conscious consumers.

The Challenges

Oakberry previously had static traditional signage and was looking for a digital menu board and promotional display solution that meets their specific requirements. Firstly, they needed the solution to be reliable and affordable so that it could be implemented across all of their stores in Australia. They wanted a solution that could be adapted to fit all of their stores, which may have different layouts and sizes. Additionally, they wanted the digital signage displays to be remotely managed by their head office marketing team to ensure that the content and messaging displayed on the screens was consistent across all locations. Lastly, the minimal, open plan layout of the stores presented a challenge in itself as it meant that there was no wall or bulk head to mount the digital displays to in most of the stores. Alternative installations were required to fit the screens in Oakberry stores. 

Our Solution

Amped Digital replaced Oakberry’s static signage with Samsung QM43 displays. These screens have ultra high-definition resolution and unique picture-enhancing features to improve low resolution content and display them in high quality. The high brightness and anti-glare coating ensures that the content stays visible at any lighting condition. These displays are also embedded with Samsung’s Tizen system-on-chip. 

Fusion Signage was the recommended content management software for its reliability to remotely control content across Oakberry’s network of screens and easy content management for the brand’s marketing team.

Due to Oakberry’s open interior layout, most systems had to be ceiling-mounted using Vogel’s ceiling rail mount and in some cases, additional structural reinforcement was required to ensure the screens were secure.

The Result

The implementation of high-quality Samsung displays and Fusion Signage CMS have allowed Oakberry to showcase their products in a visually appealing and engaging way, while the remote management feature has enabled them to maintain consistent messaging across all stores.

Despite the challenges presented by the open interior layout of their stores, Amped Digital was able to find a suitable installation solution that was both secure and visually appealing. The Vogel’s ceiling rail mount provided a flexible and reliable solution that could be adapted to fit any store layout, ensuring that the displays were visible to customers from any angle.
